This show is another “get” for us. Every now and then we get to interview someone who is making a name for themselves and are really living the dream in the freelance jazz world. Sara Caswell is one of these people that we respect so much!

Sara grew up in Bloomington Indiana and did her undergraduate degree and earned an Artist Diploma at Indiana University, which is where I met her. She then attended Manhattan School of Music for her Masters degree which brought her to New York City which is where she has thrived. Currently playing with everyone, everywhere, all the time, she also teaches at Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA.

Somehow she found time to talk with us, and we are so happy about that!

On this episode we talk about her career and feature music from her album, “The Way To You“, released in 2023 on ANZIC Records.

The album has a great lineup, beautiful tunes, and incredible playing. We loved it!
