I will take any opportunity or excuse to sit down and speak with Jared Thompson. However, for this episode, I didn’t need an excuse because an opportunity arose that I took full advantage of.

Jared and I had just finished an outdoor socially distanced gig, and after we finished we sat down to talk about Jared’s new project of an album and documentary project “38th & Postmoderism”. The project is commissioned by the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation.

“38th and Postmoderism” is produced by Jared Thompson and Ryan Taylor and filmed by Daniel Arthur Jacobson. We will be recording/performing/filming the music for the documentary this weekend, September 6th at the Cabaret in Indianapolis. The full documentary film with be out in 2021.
