Many of you may know the name Christian Sands. He was a finalist for the previous APA Cole Porter Jazz Fellowship award, and he has played/toured with bassist Christian McBride.
His new album, REACH, is out and he is on a promotional tour. They will be in Indianapolis on June 23rd at The Jazz Kitchen. The band sounds great, lots of youthful energy, but very steeped in tradition. It is a fun album that will be a great concert to hear live!
