When we get to talk with a player, musician, artist like Donny McCaslin, it is safe to say that we get a little nervous. I mean, Donny is one of our favorite artists, there is nothing like his original music, and yet we just chatted pretty casually.
Our conversation spreads over two shows and covers lots of topics including raising and teaching our children during this unprecedented pandemic, his working with David Bowie on Bowies final album Blackstar, and his creative process. We also discuss the incredibly varied amount of music he is currently listening to and digesting.
