Joel Tucker and Nick Tucker, The Tucker Brothers, are two wonderful people who happen to play great music together. Joel, guitar, and Nick, bass, are two of the most solid musicians (and people) around the Indianapolis scene. They are top call guys for many acts in the region.
They have recently combined forces (again) and put together their second album as band leaders. (Listen to our previous interview with the the Tucker Brothers). This time around they are joined by Evan Main on piano, Ben Lumsdaine on drums, and Sean Imboden on saxophone, the Tucker Brothers Quintet is a lot of fun to listen to.
Their sense of loyalty to the history of the Indianapolis jazz scene is just a small example of what makes these young guys so special. They enhance our scene in many ways.
